Sushant Singh Rajput’s father and his two sisters performed the last rites, as per the coronavirus guidelines, only 20 people were allowed to attend the funeral.

A host of Bollywood stars including Sharddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Vivek Oberoi, Rajkumar Rao and others bid final adieu to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whose last rites were held at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Ville Parle Mumbai a couple of hours back today( Monday,June 15). Also attending the funeral was TV producer Ekta Kapoor, who got all teary-eyed as she bid final farewell to Sushant. It was television producer Ekta Kapoor, who gave the late star his first break in TV soap 'Pavitra Rishta,' alongside actor Ankita Lokhande. His performance as the lead character, Manav Deshmukh was met with humongous applause, enabling his stature as a household name for a TV actor. He went to receive several television awards for the performance. Heavy rains hit the city as Sushant’s last rites were being performed. The actor was cremated at 5:00 pm in the presence of his family members and a few friends. Sushant Singh Rajput’s father and his two sisters performed the last rites. As per the coronavirus guidelines in the city, only 20 people were allowed to attend the funeral. Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday. However, no suicide note has been recovered from his Bandra residence, as per the police and further investigation is underway. As the actor left for heavenly abode, may his soul rest in peace!
