New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide has left the industry and the fans in a state of shock. It’s hard to believe the talented actor has committed suicide by hanging himself at his apartment. Sushant, known for his acting prowess, was considered as one of the brightest stars of this young generation. The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor was reportedly battling depression since the past six months. With Sushant’s death, a debate over nepotism in Bollywood has started on social media. Kangana Ranaut slammed the tinsel town celebs and questioned the industry for not giving due credit to the late actor for his work. She asked why Sushant was not acknowledged in various award ceremonies despite giving solid performances. While the debate is gaining traction, old videos of Sushant have resurfaced on social media. A clip from IIFA Awards is going viral in which Sushant can be seen sharing stage with Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor. A Twitter user shared the clip and said that the ‘Raabta’ actor was visibly uncomfortable while SRK and Shahid pulled his legs.
Veteran folk singer Malini Awasthi expressed her displeasure over the way the hosts treated Sushant on the stage.
Another video from an awards show is creating buzz on social media. In the video, Neil Nitin Mukesh can be seen saying ‘shut up’ to Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan when they cracked a joke on his name. “I am sorry everyone but I personally find this as an insult. I think you guys need to shut up. I am sorry,” Neil can be heard telling SRK and Saif in the video from Filmfare Awards. Check it out!
