New Delhi: It has been more than three months that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode on June 14, 2020. The ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s untimely demise has left his family, friends and fans teary-eyed who are still struggling to come in terms with the loss. As the world is still fighting for SSR’s justice, his friend Ganesh Hiwarkar and ex-manager Ankit Acharya has reached Delhi ahead of their hunger strike at Rajghat. Demanding an update on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case from the CBI as they feel that the case is being diverted, Ganesh told Republic TV that they are planning to hold the protest for 3 days starting from October 2. He also added that if Delhi Police permits, they would also like to stage the hunger strike at Gandhiji’s Samadhi. Ganesh Hiwarkar went on to add that whatever NCB is doing is good but they seek an update from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Also, the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s father K.K. Singh met Bihar Chief Minister on September 30 in Patna where the Bihar CM informed SSR’s father about the latest developments on the ongoing CBI probe. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh expressed his displeasure and said that he is ‘getting frustrated’ by the delay in the CBI investigation a few days back. He further claimed that the doctor who is also a part of the AIIMS team had indicated him long back that the actor died by ‘strangulation’ and not ‘suicide’ after Vikas Singh sent him the photos. Meanwhile, the Forensic Department of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which has been roped in by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to give a medico-legal opinion in the death case, still needs to look into some legal aspects before reaching a ‘logical legal conclusion’.
