Sushant Singh Rajput case: The CBI officials questioned Indrajit Chakraborty for over five hours in connection with the late actor's death.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation questioned Rhea Chakraborty’s father Indrajit Chakraborty, Bunty Sajdeh and Susan Walker in connection with Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case on Thursday (September 3). The CBI officials grilled Indrajit Chakraborty for over five hours on his third straight day of questioning. He was the first one to arrive at DRDO guest house for the interrogation. The agency had questioned him for none hours on Wednesday (September 2).



The CBI also interrogated Bunty Sajdeh, who is the CEO of Cornerstone Sports and Entertainment Pvt Limited. Sushant’s former manager Disha Salian, who passed away on June 9, used to work for Cornerstone. Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi also used to work for the same company. Ace cricketer Rohit Sharma is married to Ritika Sajdeh, Bunty Sajdeh’s cousin Ritika Sajdeh is married to Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma. His sister Seema is married to Sohail Khan, Bollywood star Salman Khan’s younger brother.

Indrajit Chakraborty was asked about Rhea's relations with Sushant

According to an IANS report, Mr. Chakraborty was questioned about his daughter's relationship with the 'Dil Bechara' actor. He was also grilled about the couple's break-up, Sushant's financial investment plans, after a video of the actor and Chakraborty family went viral on social media

Did Sushant spoke to any person in Cornerstone about the sudden demise of Disha Salian? CBI to Bunty Sajdeh 

Bunty Sajdeh recorded his statement in connection with Sushant's death case with the CBI. The agency asked him about how long Disha Salian and Shruti Modi handled the 'Raabta' star's account, the report in IANS added. A CBI source told the news agency that the officials also questioned Bunty if Sushant spoke to someone at his company regarding Disha's death.



CBI grills Susan Walker for the first time

The agency questioned Sushant Singh Rajput's therapist Susan Walker on Thursday. She had earlier recorded her statement with the Mumbai Police in connection with the case.

Narcotics Control Bureau gets week's custody of Zaid Vilatra

Meanwhile, a Mumbai court has granted the NCB seven days of custody of Zaid Vilatra, who has been arrested in the drug probe related to SSR's death case. The court has granted the agency custody of  Zaid till September 9.



Sushant's family lawyer held a press conference on Wednesday (September 2) to dispel the rumours floating in the media. He clarified that the 'Pavitra Rishta' actor had no life insurance policy, contrary to the allegations made by Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer. Vikas Singh also said that no film, serial or book should be made or written on Sushant without the approval of his father KK Singh.
