Today, i.e. on September 2, SSR’s family lawyer addressed a press conference where he busted the theory of actor's family knowing everything about his mental illness. He slammed the campaign which has been started related to Sushant’s mental health. He said, “Our FIR has been in the public domain from the very beginning. It is not as if the channels do not know what the FIR says. Despite what has been said in the FIR, it has been carried that the family knew about his depression and him being bipolar. The FIR clearly said that after Rhea came into his life, Sushant started having mental problems and she was responsible for his anxiety.”
Vikas Singh also revealed that Rhea never shared the files of whatever treatment she was getting for SSR to the family. He further added, “Some of the prescriptions which were shared at some point of time just mentioned the tablets being taken and not the disease. It is in these circumstances that Rhea left. Sushant was suffering from some anxiety problems so his sister sent him a prescription for the same as she was also having some anxiety issues.”
“It is the earnest request of the family to please not increase the suffering of an aggrieved family,” said Vikas Singh.
“I would also like to inform everyone that Sushant’s father and sisters have taken a conscious decision that no film, serial, book should be made on SSR without the consent of his father. In spite of all this, if anybody feels that they can go ahead with the family’s consent, appropriate action will be taken,” concluded the lawyer.
Meanwhile, the CBI has already interrogated Rhea Chakraborty 4 times. The agency has also been questioning her parents and brother Showik Chakraborty. Showik’s chats with the drug dealer have also been revealed reportedly.
