Sushant Singh Rajput Case: After Ankita Lokhande, Kriti Sanon Demands For CBI Probe, Says 'His Loved Ones Deserve This Closure'

Kriti Sanon, who worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in 'Raabta', penned an emotional note and hoped that the CBI 'takes over' the actor's case.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, who worked with late Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Raabta’, has now come forward to demand a CBI probe into the actor’s death case. Kriti, last seen in ‘Panipat’, took to her Instagram story to demand a CBI enquiry into the matter. She hoped that the agency takes over the case so that everything is ‘investigated without any political agenda’. The ‘Housefull 4’ actress also said that Sushant’s family, friends and loved ones deserve a ‘closure’. “I pray that the Truth comes out SOON...His family, his friends, fans, and all loved ones deserve this closure... I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case so it's investigated without any political agendas, in the TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Its high time his soul rests in peace! #CBIForSSR #SushantSinqhRajput," Kriti wrote. (Source- Instagram) Gossip mills suggested that Kriti and Sushant dated each other for a while before parting ways. The 'Luka Chuppi' actress attended Sushant's funeral on June 15 at Pawan Hans crematorium, Vile Parle. Earlier in the day, Team Kangana Ranaut shared a video in which the 'Panga' actress can be seen demanding a CBI investigation into the matter. The 'Queen' star said, "We deserve to know the truth." Kangana's team posted the video along with the caption, "After Sanjay Raut said they are in the last last leg of investigation, #KanganaRanaut joins the global campaign for #JusticeForSushant #CBIForSSR. We deserve nothing but the truth."

Apart from Kangana, Sushant's former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande also shared a video on Instagram and Twitter on Thursday (August 13), demanding a CBI investigation in the 'Kai Po Che' actor's case. She wrote, "#justiceforsushantsinghrajput. #CBIforSSR."

The 'Chhichhore' actor's sister Shweta Singh Kirti has also reiterated her family’s demand for a CBI inquiry in the case.
