New Delhi: A day after the Supreme Court ordered for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the team is reportedly set to get into action in Mumbai and soon meet late actor's sister Meetu Singh to probe the 'honey trap' charges.

According to a report in Times Now, the investigating agency will also meet several other key suspects including Sushant’s flatmates as we all as the staff and friends of the 'Dil Bechara' actor.

Sushant passed away at his Mumbai residence on June 14. The 34-year-old actor was found hanging in his Bandra residence. While his post-mortem report stated he had committed suicide, the case is being investigated by CBI.

On August 19, a Supreme Court bench led by single judge Justice Hrishikesh Roy in its verdict observed that the Bihar government is competent enough to transfer case to CBI for investigation. The court also asked Maharashtra to hand over all the evidence in the case to CBI and assist the probe.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in another development today (August 20) recorded the statement of Filmmaker Rumi Jaffery in connection with the agency's probe into the money laundering case related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Jaffery has on a number of occasions said that he was in talks with Sushant and Rhea for a film.

The ED has so far questioned several people in the case including Rhea, her brother Showik, her father Indrajit, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda, his former manager Shruti Modi, personal staff Ritesh Mewati and Dipesh Sawant, Sushant's sister Meetu Singh, his CA Sandeep Sridhar, and Rhea's CA Ritesh Shah.
