Akshay Kumar took to social media to share a video of him flagging off the shoot of his much-awaited film. The ‘PadMan’ actor did the first clap shot for the shoot himself and shared a glimpse of the same on Twitter and Instagram.
“Lights, Camera, Mask On and Action! Following all the new norms and filming on for #BellBottom! It’s a difficult time but work has to go on. Need your love and luck,” the ‘Good Newwz’ actor tweeted. Check out the video!
The production house is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the cast and crew. From temperature monitoring wristwatches to maintaining social distancing, the makers have chalked out a proper plan.
The movie, produced by Pooja Entertainment, is one of the first films to announce the resumption of shooting during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has severely affected the entertainment industry in India.
Lara Dutt also shared a picture from the sets of her film and revealed how she felt on being the 'first one to be back' on set of a Bollywood film.
"And it begins!! I’m claiming one for the girls!. As a 42 year old female actor, in this Covid period, it feels AMAZING to be the first to be back on set of a Bollywood film! Thankyou @pooja_ent for creating a safe environment for us," the 'Partner' actress wrote.
On the occasion of 'Independence Day 2020, Akshay Kumar shared a beautiful picture with Lara and Huma on social media. He wrote, "Happy Independence Day from Team #BellBottom."
‘Bellbottom’ is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. The highly-anticipated flick, directed by Ranjit M Tewari, has been written by Aseem Arrora & Parveez Shaikh. The thriller is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021.
