Stree 2 box office collection day 3: The box office performance of 'Stree 2', starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has been exceptional, with the film proving unstoppable even amid tough competition. Released on Independence Day, 'Stree 2' faced off against Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Vedaa', yet managed to dominate the box office. According to early estimates, 'Stree 2' has amassed an impressive ₹135.7 crore by the end of its third day in theaters.

Stree 2 enters 100 crore club

According to Sacnilk.com, the film saw a significant increase in collections on Saturday compared to Friday. It's reported that 'Stree 2' earned an estimated ₹44 crore on Saturday alone, following a ₹31.4 crore collection on Friday. The film is expected to see further growth on Sunday, with an additional boost likely from the Raksha Bandhan holiday on Monday.

The report highlighted that 'Stree 2' had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 61.96% on Saturday, August 17, 2024, with the highest occupancy recorded during night shows at approximately 81%. The film performed particularly well in cities like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru.

Rajkummar Rao expressed his gratitude for the film's strong opening on Instagram, sharing that 'Stree 2' has entered the ₹100 crore club and thanking fans and God for the success.

About Stree 2

As suggested by the trailer, 'Stree 2' follows a new demon terrorizing the town of Chanderi, with a headless monster abducting women at night. Vicky (played by Rajkummar Rao) and his friends—portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana—are once again on a mission to save the village.
