New Delhi: At the upcoming coronation of King Charles III in the UK, Sonam Kapoor will be the only famous Indian celeb in attendance. Following the announcement, a parody account on Twitter dug up an old video of the actor performing her ramp walk, and many people believed it to be her coronation performance.
Sonam Kapoor may be seen dancing and twirling while walking down a runway in 2019 in a clip that was released on a spoof Twitter account.

Many users mistook Sonam's performance on the ramp for the actual coronation performance on the microblogging website. "Coronation is on 6th May, she will only be giving a spoken word performance whatever that means. Also, a ramp at a coronation seems unlikely," clarified a Twitter user.

King Charles III's Coronation Concert on May 7 at Windsor Castle, the United Kingdom, where she will also introduce Steve Winwood and the special Commonwealth virtual choir.
The recent release statement by the palace read, “Buckingham Palace is pleased to announce further details on the ceremonial, celebratory and community events that will take place over the Coronation Weekend between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May 2023."
"The Service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. As previously announced, the Service will reflect the Monarch's role today and look towards the future while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry," read Buckingham Palace's release.
As per reports, Sonam Kapoor will perform onstage alongside legends like Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Tom Cruise at the King Charles Coronation Concert on May 7.
