Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap shocked the industry and her fans when she revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer. Tahira took to Instagram to break the sad news through an emotional post and also share a picture of herself from the hospital. Fans and Bollywood celebrities have cheered the 'Cracking The CODE - My Journey To Bollywood' author and applauded her resilience. Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre, Esha Gupta, Bani J, Shilpa Shetty, Dia Mirza, Pulkit Samrat have all sent their warm wishes to Tahira. Twinkle, who recently launched her third book 'Pyjamas Are Forgiving', took  to Twitter to extend her get well soon message to Tahira. ‘’An amazing woman who will inspire so many with her grace and wit in the midst such trying circumstances ! Get well soon Tahira,’’ she wrote on the micro-blogging site.

 Ayushmann Khurrana, who will be next seen in 'Badhai Ho', also commented on his wife's post and called her 'Warrior princess'. Former Bigg Boss contestant Bani J and actress Esha Gupta also sent their love and warm wishes to Tahira. Ayushmann's brother Aparshakti Khurrana called his sister-in-law the 'bravest girl' and said the family is proud of her Sonali Bendre, who is currently in New York for her cancer treatment, said that she loved Tahira's spirit. Tahira called the 'Sarfarosh' actress her inspiration. Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty called Tahira an 'Iron woman', sending her love to the star wife.
