Music composer Shravan Rathod, who tested positive for COVID-19, died on April 22. Bollywood celebs expressed their grief on social media.
Bollywood music composer Shravan Rathod of Nadeem-Shravan fame passed away on Thursday (April 22) due to COVID-19 complications. He was 66. His son Sanjeev Rathod confirmed the news of his demise while exclusively talking to ABP News. Shravan died due to heart attack and multiple organ failure at a leading Mumbai hospital.
Several tinsel town celebs took to social media to mourn the demise of the talented musician. Filmmaker and IFTDA President Ashoke Pandit said that Shravan’s demise has created a void in the music and film industry.
“Film Industry loses one of the most popular music composers #ShravanRathod of #NadeemShravan fame. His demise today at 9.30 pm has created a void in the music & film fraternity. He will remain alive with his music. Heartfelt Condolences to the family,” Pandit tweeted.
Singer Shreya Ghoshal expressed shock over the demise of Shravan Rathod on social media. Her tweet read, "Shocked to hear the news of Shravan ji (of Nadeem Shravan) passing away. A genuine humble human being and one of the biggest composers of our music industry. Another huge loss in this pandemic. God give strength to the bereaved family. Rest in peace."
'Dilbaro' singer Harshdeep Kaur said that she is saddened to hear about the unfortunate news. "Saddened to hear about the demise of #ShravanRathod ji.. His music made the 90s so special.. Huge loss to the music industry," she wrote.
Bigg Boss 14 contestant and Kumar Sanu's son Jaan Kumar Sanu penned an emotional note for Rathod on Twitter. He wrote, "To one of the most legendary music composers of the 90s, the reason my dad became who he came, the reason my house is still called 'Aashiqui'. Check out his full post!
