Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput hosted a rainbow-themed birthday bash for their daughter Misha Kapoor, who turned a year older on August 26, 2021. Mira took to social media to share a glimpse from the fun-filled birthday celebrations.

Mira revealed that her daughter’s fifth birthday bash was all about ‘bright colours, rainbow and less complicated décor.’ Rajput informed her followers that she was a ‘DIY party planner’ for Misha’s previous birthday.

The star wife said that she opted for lights that can be used later for other parties. Mira’s mother also prepared her ‘signature sandwich house’ for Misha’s birthday.

“Life in Technicolour. This year M’s birthday was all about rainbow, bright colours, and less complicated decor! Last year I was super excited to be a DIY party planner. Two birthdays and a year later, all I can think of is arriving at the birthday like a guest!I reduced the decor fuzz and switched it with fun lights instead that were easier to handle and use in many ways (and later too),” Mira wrote on Instagram.

Mira uploaded a series of photos from the celebrations, sharing her experience with her followers. One of the pictures featured two photo albums of Misha with her parents.

Shahid and Mira welcomed their first child on August 26, 2016 after a year of marriage. They became parents of Zain Kapoor, who will celebrate his third birthday on September 5, 2021.

The 'Kabir Singh' actor will entertain the audience with 'Jersey', which is slated to hit the silver screens in November 2021. If things go as planned, the sports drama will clash with Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar starrer 'Prithviraj' at the box office. 'Jersey' also stars Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur in key roles.

Shahid will make his digital debut with an upcoming web series, which is being helmed by Raj & DK. Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna are also playing pivotal roles in the series. The makers have managed to keep the details about the project under wraps.
