Shahid Kapoor's Wife Mira Rajput Shares Heartfelt Post For Daughter Misha On Fifth Birthday: 'You're The Light Of Our Lives'

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s daughter Misha Kapoor, who is one of the most popular star kids in tinsel town, turned a year older on Thursday (August 26). Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput took to social media to share a heartfelt post for their daughter on her fifth birthday. 

Rajput posted a photo of a birthday cake while penning a note for her daughter. “Our life began to play technicolour when you were born my darling Misha. Keep shining, be happy & reach for the stars and the rainbows. You are the light of our lives sweetheart. The Lord's grace in abundance and love forever. Mumma & Papa," Mira wrote on her Instagram story. 

Shahid and Mira, who tied the knot in July 2015, welcomed their first child in August 2016. The couple often shares photos with their daughter on social media. Shamira, as fondly called by fans, are also parents to Zain Kapoor, who will turn three next month.

Shahid Kapoor’s Upcoming Films 

On the professional front, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor will be next seen in ‘Jersey’. The sports drama co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur is the Hindin remake of a Telugu film of the same name. If things go as planned, ‘Jersey’ will clash with Akshay Kumar-Manushi Chillar starrer ‘Prithviraj’ at the box office. The two much-awaited flicks are slated to hit the silver screens on November 5, 2021.

Shahid Kapoor's Digital Debut

Shahid will also foray into the OTT space with Raj and DK’s upcoming web series. Raashi Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi will also be seen in the upcoming series, which is expected to premiere on a streaming giant.

Earlier this month, the 'Padmaavat' star uploaded a clip on Instagram to announce that Vijay has joined the cast of new web series. Kapoor wrote, "Waiting on set call me soon @rajanddk … can't wait to share the frame with @actorvijaysethupathi sorry @raashiikhanna I’ve got too used to having you around on set."
