Saroj Khan Funeral: Watch- Daughter Breaks Down To Tears Outside Malad Cemetery; Late Choreographer Laid To Rest In Presence Of Family

Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away after a cardiac arrest on early on Friday.

Late choreographer Saroj Khan was laid to rest at Muslim cemetery in Malad Mumbai in presence of her family. The 71-year-old legendary Bollywood dance guru passed away in the wee hours of Friday. She died of cardiac arrest and was admitted at the hospital past a few weeks after she complained of breathing issues. Saroj Khan's mortal remains were taken to the Awais-e-Qarni Muslim Kabristan in Malad for burial, early morning where her daughter broke down in tears outside the cemetery, watch below: A prayer meet in memory of Saroj Khan will be held next week, informed her daughter Sukaina. She told PTI, “We buried her at around 7 am. The prayer meeting will be held after three days.” Saroj Khan was diabetic and had complained of breathing problem last month, following which she was admitted to Mumbai's Guru Nanak Hospital. Over the past few weeks, she had been experiencing multiple health issues, though she had tested negative for Covid-19. She breathed her last at around 1.30 a.m., family sources said. The last rites were performed at Malad burial ground. Few members of her family were allowed at the burial owing to social distancing norms.
