Saroj Khan Death: Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan & Ananya Panday Share Throwback PICS With Masterji, Say 'You Are Truly Special'
Janhvi Kapoor, who will be next seen in 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl', penned a heartfelt post for veteran choreographer Saroj Khan.
New Delhi: Prolific choreographer Saroj Khan, who worked with leading stars in Bollywood, passed away on Friday (July 3) after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was 71. Several tinsel town celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan paid tribute to the legendary choreographer on social media. Late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor, who made her acting debut with ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khatter, shared a picture with Masterji along with a heartfelt note.

The ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ actress said that she is grateful for getting an opportunity to learn from the veteran choreographer. Saroj Khan had choreographed several iconic numbers of Janhvi’s mother Sridevi.
“Can’t thank my stars enough for getting the chance to learn from you. I always cherished every moment I spent in the class room with you but now even more. You are truly special, truly a legend for what you’ve given our cinema through your dance. We’ll miss you Sarojji,” Janhvi wrote.
Sara Ali Khan shared a picture with Masterji on her Instagram story. The 'Coolie No.1' actress wrote, “You will forever be an inspiration to all of us. So thankful and grateful for the moments I’ve been lucky enough to share with you."

Ananya Panday, last seen in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh', posted two pictures with Saroj Khan on her Insta story. She can be seen taking blessings from the late choreographer in one of the photos.

With a career spanning over forty years, Saroj Khan choreographed more than 2000 songs. Some of her notable songs include ‘Ek Do Teen’, ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’, 'Dola Re Dola', ‘Kaatein Nhi Katte’, ‘Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar’, 'Tamma Tamma', ‘Maar Dala’ and ‘Mere Hantho Mein Nau Nau Churiyaan’.
