Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the poster release on his official X handle. At the trailer launch, Sara Ali Khan was seen in a floral pink-white lehenga looking her elegant best. She went with a glossy makeup look and opted for a simple hairstyle.
Karan Johar, on the other hand, wore an a black suit looking all dapper and formal.
Around the first look motion unveiling, Sukhwinder Singh also sang a track from the film titled 'Qatra Qatra'.

Inspired from a chapter of the Indian Freedom Struggle, 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' follows the story of a young girl, Usha Mehta, who became important to the freedom struggle of India.
Earlier, Sara Ali Khan had shared the first look posters of her look from the film on her social media handle and wrote, "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Directed by Kannan Iyer, the film has been produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment.
