Sandeep Reddy Vanga attributed the complete cooperation of producer Bhushan Kumar as a key factor to the success of Animal. “The kind of freedom he gives in terms of my creativity and the liberty to choose any song makes me feel at home at T-Series, and there is nothing more than that a director needs.” The director added that he was not worried about the budget and it didn’t even bother him during the making. He added, “I realized after the movie was made that we never discussed the budget," he was quoted as saying by Indian Express.

Going by how Animal ended, it is expected that Ranbir Kapoor will collaborate again with Sandeep Reddy for the sequel of the film which also starred Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri.

While the film is running successfully at the box office, the film had got polarised reactions from the audience with a majority loving it while many criticising it for its toxicity, misogyny and violence.
