New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation through social media posts a few months back in October 2021. This had sent their fans in a shock and they have been looking for a silver lining ever since.
Post her split with Naga Chaitanya, she deleted all their posts together which included pictures from their wedding ceremonies, festivities, their outings together and other family events. However, in a surprising turn of events, Samantha has now deleted her separation announcement post as well.
The former couple announced their divorce through a statement that was shared on their social media pages. The statement read, “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
However, Naga Chaitanya did not delete the post from his social media. Take a look at it here:
Earlier, Shaakunthalam producer Neelima revealed that Samantha wanted to start a family with Naga. She added that when she was offered Shaakunthalam last year by her father, director Gunasekhat, she had declined the offer because she wanted to start a family with her then-husband Naga Chaitanya.
For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was married to actor Naga Chaitanya for over four years till they decided to split ways in October last year. There has been quite a lot of controversy around their divorce and Samantha also faced with a lot of online trolling post their divorce.
