Salman Khan Or His Sister Alvira Khan Not Part Of Alleged Fraud Case; Here's Official Statement
Style Quotient has issued a statement on Friday (July 9) to clarify that Salman Khan, his sister Alvira or any official of Being Human Foundation ‘have nothing to do’ with the alleged cheating case.
Mumbai: The Chandigarh Police on Thursday summoned Bollywood star Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and others after a local businessman, Arun Gupta, filed a complaint against them. The ‘Bharat’ actor, his sister, CEO of Being Human Foundation and officials of Style Quotient (licensee of Being Human Jewellery) were called for an inquiry on July 13 to verify the claims of Gupta, a report in PTI said.
Style Quotient has issued a statement on Friday (July 9) to clarify that Salman, Alvira or any member of Being Human Foundation ‘have nothing to do’ with the case. The company said that the current matter is between SQJPL and Arun Gupta and 'Salman is only the owner of Being Human and not even a trustee of the foundation'.
"In Dec 2015, 'Being Human- The Salman Khan Foundation' appointed Style Quotient Jewellery Pvt. Limited (SQJPL) as their global licensee for the jewellery vertical. The same was for handling manufacturing & sales of jewellery under the Brand Name of Being Human. On 3rd August 2018, SQJPL signed an MOU with Modern Jewels (Arun Gupta) to be the first Franchisee of 'Being Human Jewellery'," the statement said.

What Did Arun Gupta Say In His Complaint?
Gupta claimed that he opened an exclusive store under the brand Being Human Jewellery by investing Rs 2-3 crore, as per PTI. The trader said he was assured that he would be provided all kinds of backup but the officials of Style Quotient failed to keep their promise. In his complaint, he alleged that neither promotion commitments were fulfilled nor the stock was delivered to him for his showroom.
The businessman also claimed that it was assured to him that Salman would promote the brand but this didn't happen.

On the professional front, the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star was last seen in 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' opposite Disha Patani. The film co-starring Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff released on May 13 on ZeePlex and DTH platforms.
Salman has a couple of exciting films in his kitty including 'Antim', 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' and 'Tiger 3'. He will team up with Katrina Kaif for the third installment of 'Tiger' franchise.
