Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Wednesday (August 11) met Indian weightlifter Mira Chanu, who secured the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in the category of 49 kgs. The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor extended his warm wishes to the 27-year-old on social media.

The ‘Wanted’ star took to his official Instagram handle to share a picture with Chanu along with a heartfelt message. He expressed his happiness over the weightlifter’s historic win at the Tokyo Olympics and sent his best wishes to her.
“Happy for u silver medalist @mirabai_chanu .. lovely meeting with u … best wishes always!,” Salman wrote on Instagram. The ‘Bharat’ actor and Chanu can be seen smiling while striking a pose for the camera.
