Salman Khan's Eidi To His Fans, Announces New Film Sikandar With Ghajini Director AR Murugadoss
Salman Khan is collaborating with Ghajani director AR Murugadoss for his next film titled ‘Sikandar’ which will be released on Eid 2025. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Though Salman Khan didn’t have any film release this Eid, the superstar gave his fans Eidi with a film announcement for next year’s Eid. Salman Khan is collaborating with Ghajani director AR Murugadoss for his next film titled ‘Sikandar’ which will be released on Eid 2025. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
Salman Khan announces new film
Taking to Instagram and X Salman shared a glimpse, which had “Salman Khan in and as Sikandar”. In the caption, the actor gave a shout out to the two films that have released this Eid Ajay Devgn's Maidaan and Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'.

Salman and AR Murugadoss have previously worked together in ‘Jai Ho’, where he was the writer.
Salman Khan and Eid release
Salman’s films have been releasing on Eid since Dabangg in 2010. His films like Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan Sultaan, were released on Eid and were superhit. Four of his Eid releases, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Bharat, Race 3, and Tubelight, didn’t meet the same fate and were rejected by the audience.
The actor's future projects also include a film with Karan Johar production and another wit Sooraj Barjatya.

Murugadoss made his Bollywood debut with the 2008 Aamir Khan-led 'Ghajini', a Hindi adaptation of his Tamil creation bearing the same title. He has also directed the high-octane thriller 'Thuppaki', featuring Vijay in the lead role.
His other films include Akshay Kumar's 'Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', '7aum Arivu', and the Vijay-fronted 'Sarkar', among others.
