Ritesh Sidhwani Reveals When Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi & Ishaan Khatter's 'Phone Bhoot' Will Release

Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi are working together in 'Phone Bhoot' for the first time.

Mumbai: Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer ‘Phone Bhoot’ has been making waves ever since the project was announced. Movie buffs are quite excited to see the horror comedy drama as it will feature newbies Siddhant and Ishaan along with Katrina. The fresh pairing and interesting storyline revolving around ghosts will be the main highlight of the film 

Ritesh Sidhwani, while talking to Bollywoodlife, has revealed when ‘Bhoot Police’ will release. He told the leading entertainment portal that film should be ready to hit the silver screens next year. 

‘Phone Bhoot’ is being directed by Gurmeet Singh while Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are producing the film their banner Excel Entertainment.  

Katrina-Siddhant's Upcoming Films 

On the professional front, Katrina will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’. The film co-starring Akshay Kumar was slated to hit the theatres in April; however, the makers postponed the release in the wake of the second wave of COVID-19 in India. She will soon start shooting for ‘Tiger 3’, which also stars Salman Khan. 

Siddhant, who became a household name after playing MC Sher in ‘Gully Boy’, will be next seen in Shakun Batra’s yet-to-be titled film. Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday will be seen playing the female leads in the slice of drama flick. 

Talking about Ishaan, the ‘Dhadak’ star has ‘Pippa’ in his kitty.  

2021- The Year Of Horror Comedies 

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Roohi’ arrived in the cinema halls in March 2021. The horror comedy managed to perform decent considering the COVID-19 crisis. 

Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandes and Yami Gautam will entertain the audience with ‘Bhoot Police’ on September 17. The movie will premiere directly on Disney+Hotstar.  

Kartik Aaryan will tickle the funny bone and scare the audience at the same time with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Kiara Advani and Tabu are also part of the film, which is slated to hit the silver screens on November 19, if things go as planned.
