WATCH: Genelia D'Souza Gives Special Surprise To Riteish Deshmukh On Their Wedding Anniversary

Riteish Deshmukh shared a glimpse of his anniversary celebrations on social media. The 'Housefull' actor penned a heartfelt post for his 'Baikao' Genelia D'Souza.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, who tied the knot on February 3, 2012, are celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary on Wednesday. The Bollywood couple celebrated their special day together with their family members. Genelia gave a special surprise to her hubby on their marriage anniversary. Riteish took to social media to give a glimpse of their celebrations.

The ‘Housefull’ actor revealed that his chef Vikramjit Roy flew especially from Delhi for their anniversary. No prize for guessing that it was Genelia’s idea. Deshmukh thanked his ‘Baiko’ for the surprise in his Instagram post.

“Surprise Anniversary Celebration by the Baiko @geneliad - this is just the beginning- the master surprise is @chefvikramjitroy who flew down specially from Delhi,” the caption for the post read. Check out the video!

Riteish penned a heart-warming post for his wife to wish her on their anniversary. He wrote, “This is my resting place forever, I will live here, for this is the home I desired. Happy Anniversary Baiko.” He can be seen resting on Genelia’s shoulders in the photo.  Bipasha Basu, Rakul Preet and other tinsel town celebs dropped comments on the post. Genelia also posted a comment on the picture. She commented, “I love you” followed by a heart emoji.

Genelia and Riteish, who worked together for the first time in ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, welcomed their first son Riaan on November 25, 2014.They became parents for the second time on June 1, 2016. They have named their second son Rahyl.

On the professional front, Riteish was last seen in ‘Baaghi 3’. The action drama co-starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor couldn’t enjoy a long run at the box office due to the COVID-19 crisis. Deshmukh is currently busy with the shoot of Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Bachchan Pandey’. The movie will hit the silver screens on January 26, 2022 on the occasion of Republic Day.
