Ranveer Singh, who plays Alauddin Khilji in one of the most anticipated film of the year, 'Padmavati,' bids farewell to his character by wrapping up his portion for the saga. The 32-year-old actor, who plays the character of the most powerful ruler of the Khalji dynasty, took to his twitter handle and posted his portrait as the Khilji with blood stains on it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga, Padmavati, has been embroiled in controversies with Rajput Karni Sena objecting to the film's release. Rajput Karni Sena has now demanded that the director should show the movie to people of their organisation before its release so they can check if the film is tampering with historical facts. The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, is slated to release on December 1.
