RIP! Rani Mukerji's Mehndi Co-Star Faraaz Khan Dies Of Brain Infection In Bengaluru

Earlier Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had come forward to help with Faraaz’s medical expenses.

Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan, who had been battling for life since a few weeks, passed away today. The actor who appeared in films such as Fareb and Mehndi alongside Rani Mukerji died in Bengaluru, he was suffering from a brain infection and was admitted in the ICU. The sad news was shared on Twitter by actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who had earlier shared that he was suffering from a brain infection. “With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place.Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most.Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers.The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill,” she wrote. In another tweet, Pooja shared pictures of Faraaz and wrote, “#FaraazKhan. May 1970-Nov 2020. May your music always play across time and space.” A few weeks ago, his brother Fahmaan Khan had shared details about the actor’s health and had requested financial help for the treatment. After Fahmaan’s appeal, Salman Khan had come forward to help with Faraaz’s medical expenses. "Faraaz was admitted to the emergency ward of Vikram hospital where we found out that he suffered three consecutive seizures due to a herpes infection in his brain that had spread from his chest. Besides, while he suffered from these seizures, he swallowed the mucus and saliva of his cough which entered his lungs and caused pneumonia," the family had said in the statement.
