'Radhe Shyam' Makers Issue Statement To Address Rumours Of Prabhas & Pooja Hegde's Tiff

Mumbai: Tollywood star Prabhas starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ has been making waves ever since the project was announced. The ‘Baahubali’ actor will be seen romancing Pooja Hegde in the much-awaited romantic drama. Movie buffs are quite excited for the film as it is set against the backdrop of Europe. 

Prabhas and Pooja will be seen in never-before-seen avatars in ‘Radhe Shyam’. While fans are eagerly waiting to see their chemistry in the upcoming films, gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours about their tiff. It is being said that Prabhas is apparently ‘miffed’ with Hegde’s ‘unprofessionalism’.  

Producers Refute Rumours Of Tiff, Issue Statement

While the two stars have refrained from speaking on the speculations, the makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ have issued a statement to squash the rumours about their tiff. 

UV Creations called the reports ‘baseless’ and said that the duo shares a ‘great camaraderie’ off-screen. “These reports are completely baseless. Prabhas and Pooja Hedge have great respect and admiration for each other. In fact, they share a great camaraderie off-screen and that has translated into some magical onscreen chemistry,” the statement read. 

 The makers described the rumours as a ‘figment of someone’s imagination. They clarified that things are well between Prabhas and Pooja. 

“Pooja has always been very punctual for her shoots and in fact she is very easy to work with. These rumours are merely a figment of someone’s imagination. All is well between the leading pair and the entire team is very excited to bring audiences a theatrical experience they won’t forget,” the statement further read. 

 ‘Radhe Shyam’ Release Date 

'Radhe Shyam' will hit the silver screens on the occasion of Makar Sankranti next year. The movie will release on January 14, 2022.  

 The multi-lingual love story, which has been directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, will be presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. UV Creations, Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi and Pramod have produced the highly-anticipated flick.  

Last year, Prabhas unveiled the first look poster of 'Radhe Shyam' on social media. He shared the poster along with the caption, "This is for you, my fans! Hope you like it."

Prabhas is currently busy with 'Adipurush', which also stars Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.
