Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ roka ceremony is expected to start any time soon. The ‘Quantico’ actress and her American singer boyfriend will host an engagement party for the former’s industry friends and family members in the evening. Before the engagement bash, the two lovebirds will have a roka ceremony which is considered an important ritual in an Indian wedding. PeeCee and Nick will have their roka ceremony at the actress’ bungalow in Juhu.
‘The Sky Is Pink’ actress’ residence has been decorated with lights for her special day. Priyanka Chopra’s family pandit has been snapped while making his way towards the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress’ house for the ceremony. He can be seen carrying all the neccessary things required for the roka ceremony.

Fans have not been able to control their excitement ever since Nick Jonas and his family were spotted at the Mumbai international airport. Priyanka and Nick went out for a dinner date with their families before the engagement party yesterday. Talking about their roka ceremony, a report in an entertainment portal suggested that the two lovebirds will wear traditional wear. We have seen Piggy Chops in Indian traditional attires several times but we are yet to see Nick in a kurta. The ceremony will start post 10 am on Saturday (August 18), the report in Pinkvilla said. After the ceremony, both families will have a typical Punjabi cuisine for lunch. A source told the portal that Nick Jonas is keen to have the cuisine as he had tried butter chicken and dal makhni earlier. The ‘Jealous’ singer want his family to taste the dishes, the report added.
