Pop star Beyonce sues company for using 'Feyonce' to sell products!

Los Angeles: Pop star Beyonce Knowles has filed a lawsuit against a Texas company for selling several stuff online bearing the name "Feyonce". The complaint, which was filed on Tuesday, April 5 at Manhattan federal court, alleged that "Feyonce" was too close to Beyonce's trademarked name, reported Ace Showbiz. The "Me, Myself and I" crooner accused Feyonce Inc. and three individuals from San Antonio for selling clothing merchandise, coffee mugs and more bearing the same name. Beyonce's team also pointed at a particular mug that read, "He put a ring on it." Beyonce has a hit single titled "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", thus the resemblance. Michelle Obama wants to be Beyonce The lawsuit stated that the three parties "brazenly" sell infringing "Feyonce" merchandise on their website. Beyonce, 34, doesn't endorse the products which confuse consumers and cause her irreparable harm. She had warned the company to stop selling but they denied her request. Beyonce's lawsuit said, "Defendants adopted the Feyonce mark to call to mind Beyonce and her famous song. Defendants' conduct described herein is intentional, fraudulent, malicious, willful and wanton." The Grammy-winning singer is seeking unspecified damages. PTI
