New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday shared a new poster of his much-anticipated film ‘Pathaan’. The poster also featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.

Sharing the poster, Shah Rukh Khan wrote: "Peti baandh li hai...? Toh chalein (Fastened the seatbelt?...So let's go then). #55DaysToPathaan. Celebrate Pathaan with YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu."

In the poster, Shah Rukh, Deepika, and John can be seen carrying guns in their hand.

Pathaan marks King Khan’s comeback on the silver screen after an almost three-year hiatus. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is touted as a high-octane action thriller.

The teaser of the film was released on Shah Rukh’s birthday and his fans have been waiting eagerly for the trailer since then but recently the makers revealed that the music of the film would be launched before the trailer release in January.

Director Siddharth Anand said that the audience will experience the two spectacular songs from the film followed by the trailer release in January.

Siddharth Anand told IANS: "Pathaan has two spectacular songs. And fortunately both are so incredible that they are potential chartbuster anthems of the year. Hence, we decided to give people ample time to enjoy the songs before the film releases."

The idea of releasing the music first is to further build the anticipation for the film's plot and cash in on the response to the film's music.

"Since December is a party and holiday season for people across the world. So we will release the songs of the film before the theatrical trailer. This is also part of our strategy to hold back the plot of Pathaan to as close to the release as possible. So get ready to dance to the music of 'Pathaan", the director added.

'Pathaan', which also has a cameo by Salman Khan, will land in theatres on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
