Parineeti-Sidharth's next based on 'pakadwa vivaah' gets FINAL TITLE; Shooting begins!

Ekta Kapoor just announced the finalized title of the ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ jodi's Sidharth Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra's second movie together and it is 'Jabariya Jodi', shooting of which has just begun. Ekta shared the motion poster  on Twitter and write with it - "BALAJI ‘s funnest film just started Move over surprise parties..and make way for ‘surprise shaadis’! A ‘#Jabariyajodi’ you cannot afford to miss ! @S1dharthM @ParineetiChopra @RuchikaaKapoor @ShaileshRSingh @KarmaMediaEnt @balajimotionpic #SurpriseShaadi #DesiSexyJodi". There were reports that the pair would return with another film which is based on pakadwa vivaah in which Sidharth is set to play a Bihari thug. Earlier other actresses were speculated to play female lead opposite him including Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Parineeti bagged the film finally. In the teaser Ekta shared, some voices are heard asking "Jabariya? Ye jabariya kya hota hai?". And then the lead stars Sidharth and Parineeti's voice can be heard with former saying "surprise party sune ho?" and the latter adding, "Ee surprise saadi[shaadi] hai!". Along with Ekta, Sidharth also shared the teaser while Parineeti retweeted their twitter posts.

Sidharth wrote - "Surprise Party Sune ho ? ...yeh surprise shaadi hai ! Excited to announce my next film #JabariyaJodi with @parineetichopra @ektaravikapoor @RuchikaaKapoor @ShaileshRSingh @KarmaMediaEnt @balajimotionpic". Ekta announced with the picture of the clap board carrying film's final title that the shooting of the film has started. She wrote - "Filming begins for @ParineetiChopra and @S1dharthM starrer "Jabariya Jodi". #JabariyaJodi #ShootBegins @balajimotionpic @ShaileshRSingh @RuchikaaKapoor"

Bhojpuri word jabariya means forced (zabardasti in hindi) and hence the title indicates that the two would be forced into a marriage. According to a reports early this year, the state of Bihar ranked first in forced marriages in India as 3405 cases were reported in 2017. It's also referred to as 'Groom Kidnapping'. Parineeti is reportedly playing the character of a bold and dabang girl in it. The stars have reportedly shot for film's posters already and they should be out soon. A TOI report reveals that it was Sidharth himself who came up with the final title 'Jabariya Shaadi' which was earlier being called 'Shotgun Shaadi'. He apparently came across this word during the reading and told the team about it and they instantly liked it - reads the report. Playing a Bihari thug in the film, Sidharth has also been taking lessons to get his accent right, say reports. Parineeti-Sidharth's 'Hasee to Phasee' in 2014 did not do well with the audience but the duo's chemistry was unmissable in it.
