Mumbai: Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, known for his acting prowess, turned a year older on Saturday (May 29). Shahid Kapoor shared a cute post for his father on the occasion of his 67th birthday on social media. The ‘Kabir Singh’ actor posted a picture wherein he can be seen smiling while posing with his father.  

The father-son duo flashed their million-dollar smile while striking a pose for the camera. They donned sky diving suits, making us wonder if they planned some adventure during a trip.  

Shahid shared the photo along with the caption, “Happy birthday dad”. Fans have flooded the comment section with their messages and wishes. The photo has received over 6 lakh likes and numbers are increasing with every passing minute. 

‘The Family Man 2’ directors Raj & DK, Suresh Raina and other celebs also dropped comments on the post.  The director duo wrote, "What a sweet/cool picture."

Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput also shared a photo on her Instagram story to wish her father-in-law. She posted a snap wherein Pankaj Kapur can be seen smiling. The caption for the happy photo read, "Happy birthday dad."

Shahid and Pankaj, who worked together in ‘Mausam’, will be seen sharing screen space in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s ‘Jersey’. The sports drama co-starring Mrunal Thakur is slated to hit the silver screens on November 5, 2021. 

‘Jersey’ will clash with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Pritviraj’ on Diwali at the box office as both the films are scheduled to release on the same date. If things go as planned, Shahid and Akshay will lock horns at the box office.  

Shahid will make his digital debut with a project, which is being helmed by Raj and DK.
