Panama Papers name Amitabh and daughter in law Aishwarya among 500 Indians with hidden assets!

BJP today said the Modi government will take "stringent action" against those who have violated the law, following the release of 'Panama Papers' featuring alleged links of over 500 Indians to firms and accounts in offshore tax havens. But what is more shocking is that this list contains the name of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan as well! An investigation by The Indian Express claimed that Amitabh and daughter in law Aishwarya are also named in the massive leak of documents from the secret files of Mossack Fonseca, a law firm based in tax haven Panama.   Also: VIDEO INTERVIEW: Amitabh-Aishwarya talk about Aaradhya at Stardust Awards As per the report, two years before Big B launched the Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL) in 1995, the Bollywood superstar was appointed director in at least four offshore shipping companies. Records of international law firm Mossack Fonseca and subsequent inquiries show that the four companies, in which Bachchan was appointed director, were registered in tax havens - one in the British Virgin Islands and three in the Bahamas in November 1993.
