New Delhi: Pakistani actress Meera, who has worked in Soni Razdan’s ‘Nazar’, said that she rejected Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s marriage proposal. The ‘Baaji’ actress revealed that the ‘Murder’ actor had proposed her for marriage but she rejected because of ‘her family’. Meera, while interacting with a host on a talk show, made the revelation. She also replied in affirmative when the host asked her if Mahesh Bhatt asked her to tie the knot with her ‘Nazar’ co-star Ashmit Patel. The actress said that she couldn't marry the former 'Bigg Boss' contestant because he is a Hindu.  The clip from the interview is going viral on social media. Check it out!

‘Nazar’ was the first Indo-Pakistani joint movie venture in 50 years. The film failed to attract the audience and hence couldn’t perform well at the box office. Meera also featured in Bollywood films like 'Kasak' and  ‘Paanch Ghantey Mien Paanch Crore’. She performed an item song in the film ‘Bumper Draw’.
