Pak actors Adnan Siddiqui, Sajal Aly get visas to complete B'wood film

There is good news for cinema lovers as the Indian Government has granted visas to two Pakistani actors to complete their Bollywood films. Though, Mahira Khan may not be in India for promoting her upcoming film 'Raees' opposite Shah Rukh Khan, her fellow Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly just got visas to complete their upcoming Bollywood film 'Mom' starring Sridevi. Mahira Khan ‘feels bad’ on not being able to promote ‘Raees’ In the film, Adnan plays Sridevi's husband and Sajal is cast as her step-daughter. The duo would fly to India in February to shoot for the climax and a song, reports the Mumbai Mirror. ADNAN Adnan Siddiqui Their visas did not come easily, according to the publication. According to sources, "It's been about four months since the team has been waiting to wrap up the final schedule. In September, following the Uri attacks[...], Sajal and Adnan's visas were rejected several times." The team is planning to wrap up the schedule by February 14 and the film is slated to release in May. Actor Vikas Verma, who plays negative lead in the film, said, "Yes, they (Sajal and Adnan) have finally got a visa. It's a very important scene and we have been looking forward to complete the film." 'Mom' is a drama about a step-mom in conflict with her 18-year-old daughter. Actress Sridevi and her husband Boney Kapoor have produced this film. ANI
