The 50-year-old TV host clapped back at President Trump for the latter's tweet, degrading the 90th Annual Academy Awards, which was hosted by Kimmel himself. In his hit-back tweet, Kimmel wrote, "Thanks, lowest rated President in HISTORY."

The hit-back came after Trump took a swipe at the Oscars and tweeted, "Lowest rated Oscars in HISTORY. Problem is, we don't have Stars anymore - except your President (just kidding, of course)!" The Oscar ceremony, which was held on Sunday, March 4, saw Kimmel cracking a joke about Trump. ALSO- Oscars viewership hits record low, US President Donald Trump takes a dig!
