Mumbai: Neha Kakkar, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Tony Kakkar’s new song ‘Kanta Laga’, which released on Wednesday (September 8), has managed to become the most watched video in the last 24 hours on YouTube. Despite receiving scathing reviews from the audience, the party track garnered millions of views within a day of release. 

Neha Kakkar took to social media to share the news with her followers. She wrote, “KantaLaga has taken over the world !!! Most viewed video in the world in last 24 hours on YouTube and trending on YouTube." Tony Kakkar dropped a comment on the post. He wrote, “Your voice made it so good. No one like you queen.” 

While the new song is trending on YouTube, it didn't receive positive reviews from the netizens on social media. 'Kanta Laga' sparked a hilarious meme fest on Twitter following its release.

One user even requested YouTube to remove the song from its platform. He wrote, "This song should be immediately removed from YouTube as it can lead to new catastrophic pandemic for larger public interest."

"Just recovered from COVID-19 a few days ago and through this I heard Kanta laga. I wouldn't listen to this song if someone suggested it to me," another user tweeted.

Neha, while talking to a news agency, opened up on her collaboration with her brother Tony and Honey Singh. She said that she had a blast while working on 'Kanta Laga'.

"I've sung with Tony and Yo Yo Honey Singh earlier. It was a lot of fun to get together for 'Kanta Laga'. Singing for it with these two artistes was a party itself and now that it's out we invite you all to come party with us," Neha was quoted as saying by IANS.

'Kanta Laga' has been released under Anshul Garg's music label Desi Music Factory.
