Neetu Kapoor Tests Negative For COVID-19; Daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Confirms

According to the latest update, Neetu Kapoor has finally tested negative for COVID-19 today.

New Delhi: Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor tested COVID-19 positive while shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. Other than the ‘Kabhie Kabhie’ actress, the director of the film Raj Mehta and other casts of the film Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul has also tested positive for coronavirus. The other lead actors of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ including Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani, however, tested COVID-19 negative, fortunately. Her daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to her social media and shared a picture with her mother informing that the latter is COVID negative. Ranbir Kapoor’s sister also thanked everyone for their ‘good wishes and prayers’. Riddhima’s wrote, “Thank you for all your good wishes & prayers - My mother has tested Covid negative today @neetu54” https://www.instagram.com/p/CIpiWPdnHVB/ After testing positive for the virus, Neetu Kapoor recently took to her social media and shared a post. Her post read, “Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor's advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support! Please stay safe, wear a mask, keep safe distance. Take care.”

The ‘Kasme Vaade’ actress returned to work after a long break. She shared a post from her vanity van as she was getting ready for her shot. Her caption for the post read, “Back on set after so many years. To new beginnings and the magic of the movies. I feel YOUR love and presence. From mom, to Kapoor Sahab, to Ranbir always being with me .. now I find myself all by myself, feeling a little scared, but I know you are always with me #JugJuggJeeyo #RnR”

‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ stars Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani as a reel-life couple. Other than Neetu Kapoor, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Prajkta Kohli and Maniesh Paul in pivotal roles.
