Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Sister Passes Away At 26 After 8-year Long Battle With Breast Cancer

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's sister passed away after a long battle with breast cancer.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s younger sister Syama Tamshi Siddiqui left for her heavenly abode on Saturday (December 6). She was 26. Syama, who was battling breast cancer since the past eight years, passed away at a hospital in Pune.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 18. Nawazuddin had shared a post on social media last year on her birthday in which he informed the fans that his sister was diagnosed with cancer when she was 18. He wrote, “My sister ws diagnosed of advanced stage #breastcancer @ 18 bt it ws her will power & courage dat made her stand agnst all d odds she turns 25 2day & still fighting M thankful 2 Dr.@koppiker & @Lalehbusheri13 fr motivating her & m rly grateful 2 @resulp Sir fr introducng me 2 dem.” Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, who introduced the ‘Sacred Games’ actor to the doctors, expressed shocked at Syama’s demise. “I am shocked to hear this news,” Resul told ABP News correspondent Ravi Jain. Nawazuddin was shooting for his film ‘No Land’s Man’ in the USA when his sister breathed her last. Syama’s funeral will take place at the family’s native place in Uttar Pradesh’s Budhana.
