The epic film will star Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. Now, the release date of the film has been shifted from Christmas 2025. It has been rescheduled to March 20, 2026.

It was previously announced that 'Love & War' will be released on Christmas 2025. It was confirmed on Friday that the film will be released on the big screen on March 20, 2026.
The news on X, formerly known as Twitter, was confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who wrote, “RANBIR KAPOOR - ALIA BHATT - VICKY KAUSHAL: SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI FINALISES RELEASE DATE… 20 March 2026 is the release date of #SanjayLeelaBhansali’s next film, titled #LoveAndWar... The official announcement for the film was made in January 2024. On Instagram, the statement read, “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies Christmas 2025.”

After ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ in 2022, this film is Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia's second collaboration. Meanwhile, this also marks Ranbir Kapoor's second collaboration with the filmmaker. The actor made his debut with Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ in 2007 alongside Sonam Kapoor.
