Love Aaj Kal 2: Sara Ali Khan to STAR opposite Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s film?

New Delhi: Sara Ali Khan, who impressed critics and audience with a power-packed performance in her debut film ‘Kedarnath’, is gearing up for the release of her second film ‘Simmba’. The star kid had left Kartik Aaryan blushing when she told Karan Johar on ‘Koffee With Karan 6’ that she wanted to date the ‘Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety’ actor. If recent report in a magazine is to be believed, we may see Sara and Kartik romance each other in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’. Imtiaz Ali, who last directed Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal, has finalized Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali for the second installement of ‘Love Aaj Kal’, as per a report in Filmfare. Interestingly, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, which released in 2009 starred Sara’s dad Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The romantic drama was success at the box office and it would be a treat to the fans to see a modernized version of the love story. Sara and Kartik have been making waves ever since the former declared her crush for ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor. Ranveer Singh, who is Sara’s co-star in ‘Simmba’, tried to play cupid between them and introduced the two at the recently held Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2018. The Rohit Shetty directorial will hit the silver screens on December 28. Speculations were rife that the star kid will star opposite Tiger Shroff in ‘Baaghi 3’ but she squashed all the rumours during the promotions of ‘Simmba’. Kartik Aaryan, after delivering a box office hit in ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, will be next seen in ‘Luka Chuppi’ opposite Kriti Sanon.
