Lot Of It Is Really Different: Vikrant Massey Officially Confirms Haseen Dillruba 2

'Haseen Dillruba' star Vikrant Massey has confirmed a second instalment of the film.

New Delhi: Actor Vikrant Massey, who co-starred with Taapsee Pannu in the Netflix's suspense thriller 'Haseen Dillruba', has confirmed a second instalment. The actor spoke about preparing for 'Haseen Dillruba 2' while attending an event at IIT Bombay.

When asked about the film's sequel, Massey reportedly told the fans that it will be arriving shortly.

"I am confirming that it's coming," Vikrant said. Talking about project the actor stated,

"A lot of it is going to be really different. Except for me and Tapsee, there are so many new things. It's another crazy experience. We had not kept expectations earlier too that it will be so loved, the story, the world around the story."

"The amount of love we got for the film we thought.... We had left an interesting open ending buffer for a second part and how we can do that and luckily for us the audience responded and in 15 days now I am going to start the shoot for it. Please do go and watch the film," Vikrant said as per IANS reports. 

In the 2021 film 'Haseen Dillruba', Rani (Tapsee Pannu), Rishu (Vikrant Massey), and Neel (Harshvardhan Rane) weave a passionate and unconventional love triangle.

Following the indisputable success of the thriller, the writer was rumoured to have started writing a follow-up, which might continue the plot from the events that took place at the movie's climax.

After completing up the filming for '12th Fail', the actor is currently slated to star alongside Sara Ali Khan in 'Gaslight', which was filmed in secluded areas outside Gujarat's Rajkot.

Along with Deepak Dobriyal, he will play a crucial role in Dinesh Vijan's 'Sector 36'. The film is a gritty criminal thriller directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, who also wrote the film 'Talvar'.
