‘Laal Singh Chaddha’: Aamir Khan Continues Shooting For Film Despite Rib Injury

Reportedly, Aamir didn’t want to delay anything from his end and hence tried to curb his injury with the required medicines for time being. Read on to know what happened.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is currently shooting for the much-awaited movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in Delhi. Tagged as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ in the tinsel town, the ‘PK’ actor is known for doing everything with preciseness and perfection. Recently, while shooting for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Aamir Khan suffered a rib injury reportedly while filming an action sequence. Aamir didn’t want to delay anything from his end and hence tried to curb his injury with the required medicines for time being. A source present on the set revealed, “While shooting for some action sequences, Aamir khan suffered a rib injury. However, this did not stall the shoot of the film. The actor just took stock of his condition and in no time resumed shoot by popping some pain killers.” A few days, Kareena Kapoor Khan took to her social media and informed that she has she has wrapped up the shooting of the movie. The ‘3 Idiots’ actress shared a note, “And all journeys must come to an end. Today, I wrapped my film Laal Singh Chaddha... tough times... the pandemic, my pregnancy, nervousness but absolutely nothing could stop the passion with which we shot, with all safety measures ofcourse. Thank you @_aamirkhan and @advaitchandan for an intense yet poignant journey... thank you to my most wonderful team @avancontractor, @teasemakeup, @makeupbypompy, @poonamdamania and the entire crew... @nainas89 you were missed. Till we cross paths again...”

Responding to this post of Bebo, the ‘Lagaan’ actor wrote, “What are you talking about Kareena? End of journey? No way! I've requested Advait to write a few more scenes for us, so we can continue shooting with you”

Directed by Advait Chandan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is a remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’ which stars Tom Hanks in the lead role. The movie stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the female lead opposite Aamir Khan. This will be Kareena’s third collaboration with Aamir after ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Talaash: The Answer Lies Within’. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ alos stars Vijay Sethupati and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
