Aamir Khan Instructs ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Team To Employ Women Driven Sakha Cabs For Delhi Shoot Schedule

New Delhi: Aamir Khan is one of the most successful and versatile actors of Bollywood. The ‘3 Idiots’ actor has been ruling the industry for almost three decades now and is popularly known as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ for doing everything with preciseness and perfection. The ‘Ghajini’ actor is currently shooting in Delhi with his entire team for his upcoming movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and Aamir has instructed the team to employ women driven Sakha cabs for their entire Delhi schedule. The ‘PK’ actor first introduced Sakha cabs in ‘Satyamev Jayate’ appreciating their remarkable work of providing employment opportunities to women who have been victims of domestic abuse and harassment. Ever since then, Aamir Khan has been providing them patronage and is an ardent supporter of their service. He promised them that whenever he would visit Delhi, he would use their service. For the past 10 years, Aamir has kept his promise. Due to COVID-19 and keeping the safety of everyone in mind, he has instructed the entire team to even make special arrangements for the female drivers including their stay and other necessities, for the entire 45 days as they will be needed throughout. Directed by Advait Chandan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is a remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’ which stars Tom Hanks in the lead role. The movie stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the female lead opposite Aamir Khan. This will be Kareena’s third collaboration with Aamir after ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Talaash: The Answer Lies Within’. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ alos stars Vijay Sethupati and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
