The much-anticipated teaser for Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, was unveiled on Monday.

Kesari 2 teaser: The much-anticipated teaser for Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, was unveiled on Monday. Dharma Productions shared the gripping one-minute-thirty-second clip on its YouTube channel, offering a powerful glimpse into the historical drama. 

Akshay Kumar also took to Instagram to share the teaser, captioning it, "He held his head high. He beat them at their game. He told them where to go. A genocide India must know about. A revolution painted in courage." 

Kesari 2 teaser

The teaser opens with chilling audio of men and women screaming as they desperately flee for their lives during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. The screen then transports viewers to the Golden Temple, capturing the tragic aftermath of the massacre. A voiceover narrates the brutal killings carried out by British forces at Jallianwala Bagh, setting the tone for the film’s intense storyline.

Other fans expressed their anticipation, with remarks like "Pure goosebumps like Kesari. Blockbuster loading" and "Akshay Kumar is back with another masterpiece—300 crore loading!" 

The film, also featuring Ananya Panday and R Madhavan in key roles, is set to hit theaters on April 18.  

About Kesari

The first installment of 'Kesari', released in 2019, depicted the legendary Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers from the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army took on 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen in 1897. Parineeti Chopra played a significant role in the original film.
