'This Is My Third Child': Kareena Kapoor Khan Releases Her New Book 'Pregnancy Bible'

Kareena Kapoor, who welcomed her second child in February 2021, announced the launch of her new book 'Pregnancy Bible' on July 9.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan took to social media to introduce her ‘third child’, her new book ‘Pregnancy Bible’. Bebo announced the launch of her book on her official Instagram handle on Friday (July 9). The ‘Good Newwz’ star, who welcomed her second son in February 2021, has now turned an author.  

Kareena described her book as a ‘personal account of what she experienced during her pregnancies’. She announced the launch of ‘Pregnancy Bible’ in style as she posted a clip from kitchen.

We now know what’s baking in Bebo’s kitchen as the ‘Jab We Met Star’ took out a copy of her book from the microwave.  She penned a heartfelt note while sharing the video.

"This has been quite the journey… both my pregnancies and writing my Pregnancy Bible. There were good days and bad days; some days I was raring to go to work and others where I struggled to get out of bed. This book is a very personal account of what I experienced both physically and emotionally through both my pregnancies," Kareena wrote.

The 'Omkara' actress further wrote, "In many ways, this book is like my third child… from conception to its birth today."

The new mommy shared the book cover of 'Pregnancy Bible' and said that she is excited to share the moments and memories with her fans. Kapoor can be seen flaunting her baby bump while posing for the camera.

"I can’t believe that I actually agreed to write this book… but here it is. We all have our own unique experiences as expectant mothers, but there are some similarities and with this book, I’m sharing my experiences and learnings, and hope that in some way this will help you on your journey towards motherhood. Carrying both my babies has been the most special time in my life, and I am excited to share the moments and memories with you."

Malaika Arora, Karisma Kapoor and Saba Ali Khan dropped comments on the post and wished the actress on launching her first book. Kareena's sister-in-law Saba wrote, "Congratulations. SO happy for you."

Kareena and Saif, who tied the knot in October 2012, became parents of a baby boy on February 21, 2021. If gossip mills are to be believed, they have named their son Jeh. Saifeena, as fondly called by fans, are yet to reveal the name of their newborn son. The couple shifted to a new abode ahead of the arrival of their second child. 

Bebo had shared a glimpse of her younger son on Mother's Day 2021 on Instagram. The photo, which also featured her elder son Taimur Ali Khan, went viral on the internet in no time. Taimur is one of the most popular star kids in tinsel town. The little munchkin enjoys a significant fan following and is known as internet's most favorite child. 

On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The film co-starring Aamir Khan is the official adaptation of 'Forrest Grump'. The much-awaited film was slated to hit the silver screens in December 2020; however, the makers had to postpone the release due to the COVID-19 crisis. The movie, which is being directed by Advait Chandan, is expected to arrive in the cinema halls on Christmas 2021, if things go as planned.

Kareena shot for her part while she was pregnant with her second child. The cast and crew have jetted off to Ladakh to shoot to final sequence of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. South star Naga Chaitanya has joined the film as a new member.
