Karan Johar denies reports over 'Dostana 2' & that it stars Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra!

New Delhi: Earlier in the day the rumour mills were buzzing with the news about 'Dostana 2' and that Karan Johar is casting Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra in it. 2008 film 'Dostana' starred Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar which was directed by Tarun Mansukhani. It was reported by an entertainment portal that KJo wanted to make 'Dostana 2' for a long time but the lack of a good script had kept the film on the back burner. Now the producer-director himself has come out and denied all the speculations surrounding all the buzz. Karan took to Twitter and denied the speculations about second part of the comedy drama being made by writing in his post - "Hello!!! All news circulating about DOSTANA 2 is untrue!!! Lots of speculation which is entirely baseless!!!"

According to the report on BollywoodHungama, a source had told them that - “Karan Johar always wanted to make Dostana 2, especially after the first film worked so well. Now finally he has a script for the film, which of course will speed up production. As for the cast, Karan has finalized both Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, and is currently looking out for the third lead role that will again be a male lead”[Dostana 2: Janhvi Kapoor to star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar’s film?].  Karan Johar is all geared up for his upcoming projects, which include 'Kalank', 'Brahmastra', 'Student of the Year 2' and 'Takht'.
