Shankanada Aravind passed away due to COVID-19 related complications on May 7 in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru: Kannada actor Shankanada Aravind passed away due to COVID-19 complications on Friday (May 7) in Bengaluru. He was 70. The veteran actress was battling Coronavirus since the past 10 days. He was admitted to Victoria hospital after he tested positive for the virus.
Aravind’s daughter and music composer Manasa Holla mourned her father’s demise by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram story. She expressed her grief over losing her parents in quick succession. The music director got emotional while penning her thoughts on her father's death due to COVID-19.

Manasa posted a picture wherein her late mother can be seen carrying her in arms while posing with her father. She captioned the post as, "In Jan we lost our mother and now, we lost our father too."
Manasa also shared another photo wherein Aravind can be seen posing with her two daughters. They can be seen flashing their smiles while striking a pose for the camera.
The veteran actor is survived by his three children. His youngest daughter Prarthana also penned an emotional post for her father. She wrote, "U left me so early appa. Unbearable pain."
Shankanada Aravind worked in films like ‘Aparichita’, ‘Aagantuka’ ‘Gnana Gange’, to name a few. He was fondly known for playing comic and supporting roles in Kannada movies. Fans offered condolence to Aravind's family on social media by sharing stills from his popular films.
Several tinsel town celebs including Abhilasha Patil, Sriprada, Pandu, Shravan Rathod, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal have succumbed to COVID-19 in recent times. Many Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan have come forward to help the needy amid the pandemic.
