Kangana Ranaut Claims Sushant Singh Rajput Was Sabotaged By The ‘Suicide Gang’ Of Bollywood

The ‘Queen’ actress also revealed how outsiders like Tapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker will likely challenge her views on ‘nepotism’ and come out in support of Karan Johar.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has put the Bollywood industry into a sea of allegations. Starting from the debates on ‘nepotism’ to people harassing celebrities on social media, this line of business is going through a very resilient period. Soon after the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s alleged suicide, Kangana Ranaut slammed all the Bollywood biggies in her video claiming that their actions pressurized the star to take this drastic step. Recently, the actress shared her personal experiences that she faced as an outsider while giving an interview to a news channel. Kangana Ranaut made her debut as an actress in the film industry with the thriller movie ‘Gangster’ in 2006. During the interview, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress revealed that she was being criticized severely for being an outsider by some established industry personals. She also opened about how she was being humiliated for refusing to work in their projects by a top production house and other celebrated personalities of the industry. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actor also put forward her point of view as an artist. She said that she has the democratic right to not sign a project which doesn’t seem appealing to her but some top directors have gone to the length of physically assaulting her for doing so. Kangana also took a dig at the other ‘outsiders’ of Bollywood who are good artists claiming that they will likely challenge her views on ‘nepotism’ and bring her views into disrepute. The ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’ star said, “What I want to convey through this interview is... for me, I have only to lose here... because I know tomorrow they will get some 20 needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu or Swara Bhasker who will get up and say, 'Oh! Only Kangana has problems with nepotism. We love Karan Johar'." She also anticipated Bollywood’s reaction and predicted how “the whole system will work to make (her) look like a mad person” after the interview and come out in support of the Bollywood biggies. About Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana revealed that the late actor was one of the few people who came out in support of her for calling out the industry’s lobbyism. Consequently, Rajput was ‘sidelined’ and ‘doomed’ by top Bollywood individuals despite him being a brilliant artist. In the interview, the ‘Panga’ actress claimed that a few people of the industry whom she tags as ‘the suicide gang of Bollywood’ has ‘systematically sabotaged’ the ‘Chhichhore’ actor’s career Sushant tried to admonish and claim autonomy. The actress also feels that she was ‘responsible’ in the matter as Rajput stood for her and hence faced the repercussions.
