Kamal Haasan Birthday: Shruti & Akshara Share Heartfelt Wishes For Their ‘Bapu’

As the ‘Chachi 420’ actor turns a year older today, his daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan penned down heartfelt notes to wish their ‘Bapu’.

New Delhi: Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is one of the most talented artists in the world of Indian film industry. Having delivered some of the most unconventional characters in his career, Kamal has featured in more than 100 films in his career. As the ‘Chachi 420’ actor turns a year older today, his daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan penned down heartfelt notes to wish their ‘Bapu’ on his special day.

Shruti Haasan took to her Instagram and shared a throwback childhood picture with her father on the latter’s birthday. The caption for the post read, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! @ikamalhaasan may this year and many more to come be filled with your signature brand of joy, magic and artistry lots of love and can’t wait to see the incredible things you have in store for us !!!”

Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan also shared priceless throwback pictures on her Instagram and wrote, “Happiest birthday to my bapu dearest. I'm blessed to have learnt so much about life and its different perspectives through your work. The heart with which you drive your passion has inspired me to be the best in what I chose to do. Happy Birthday My Rockstar, Bapuji.”

Kamal Haasan started his acting career as a child artist with the 1960 Tamil-language film ‘Kalathur Kannamma’ for which he received the ‘Rashtrapati Award’. He has since then featured in many iconic movies including ‘Sadma’, ‘Chachi 420’ and others. Kamal also received the National Film Awards four times and is also the recipient of ‘Padma Bhushan’ and ‘Padma Shri’.

Kamal Haasan will be next seen featuring in ‘Vikram’, ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Dasavatharam 2.0’.
